GLOUCESTER CITY NJ-Four of Gloucester Catholic's finest seniors were each nominated by local Congressmen to various United States military academies.
Nominated from New Jersey's 1st Congressional District by Rep. Rob Andrews were: Devin McCall, nominated to the United States Military Academy at West Point and the United States Merchant Marine Academy; Rory McPeak, who was nominated to the United States Naval Academy; and Nicholas Marks who was nominated for United States Military Academy at West Point and the United States Air Force Academy.
Nominated from New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District by Rep. Frank Lobiondo was Brandon Wethman, who was nominated to the United States Military Academy at West Point.
According to the 1st Congressional District site, applicants will be judged on character, scholarship, leadership, physical aptitude, medical fitness, goals, and motivation in determining each nominee’s “whole person” evaluation.
