(cnbnews.net) Brooklawn Police Chief Fran McKinney released the following information today about a stabbing incident that occurred on January 19.
At approximately 1632 hours on January 19, 2013 police responded to the corner of Browning Rd. and Rt 130 for a reported stabbing victim. The victim and witness gave conflicting stories as to the location of the incident.
The victims fled the scene in their vehicle, stopping at the above location to call for medical help after they had realized the severity of the injuries.
A brief description of a possible suspect was brodacasted and a search was conducted with the assistance of other agencies. That search failed to produce the suspect. The victims, who reside in Williamstown and Sewell, had met the accused at that location to purchase CDS. At this time the suspect is only descrided as a black male with gold teeth and dreadlock hair style. He was last seen fleeing onto the railroad tracks near Browning Lane.
The victim was transported to Cooper hospital for treatment.
