Brooklawn Police Arrest Mother of Small Baby on Child Neglect Charges | cnbnews.net

 

NOVEMBER PRESS RELEASE:

 

 

On 11/28/12 at 2:11pm Officers responded to the Brooklawn Shopping Center parking lot for a Bpdpatchsmall child left in a vehicle.  Officers arrested Lourdes Morales Bautista, 36, of Blackwood after she left her 21 month old asleep in the vehicle while she went into the Shop Rite.  The Division of Youth and Family Services were contacted and responded to Police Headquarters to interview Bautista and her family.  She was charged with child neglect.  Bautista was able to post bail and was released to the DYFS employees who then transported the family to their residence.

On 11/4/12 at 8:29am officers responded to Ray Bets Liquor Store for a burglary that had occurred sometime overnight.  The unknown actor(s) broke the lock off the front door and took multiple lottery tickets and cash from the lottery drawer.  

 

On 11/5/12 at 1:30am officers responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts in Brooklawn for a report of a stolen vehicle.  When the arrived on scene officer’s spoke to the victim who stated that a Philip Jester, age 22 of Millville, took her vehicle after the two entered the Taco Bell together.  The victim was not very cooperative with police regarding her stolen vehicle.  A short time later the vehicle was recovered by a Gloucester City Officer in the area of Freedom Pier.  The victim was taken to her vehicle but did not wish to pursue any charges in the matter.  

 

On 11/5/12 at 7:23am officers responded to the area of the Shop Rite parking lot for a vehicle that had its front tire taken off.  Sometime between 3am-7am an unknown actor(s) removed the front passenger tire from the victims vehicle.

 

On 11/5/12 at 11:11am an officer responded to the Brooklawn Norse Apartments Building 9 for a report of criminal mischief.  Sometime overnight unknown actor(s) went into the laundry room in building 9 and removed the locked cover off a dryer machine in the basement in an attempt to gain access to the coins in the machine.  The actor(s) were unsuccessful in getting the coins but did damage the machine in the act.

 

On 11/6/12 at 10:31pm officers were dispatched to 219 Bergen Street for a burglary in progress.  Officer’s located Patrick Michael Shaw, 41, of Cinnaminson and his girlfriend Michele Lope, 35, also of Cinnaminson attempting to flee the area.  Through further investigation police arrested Patrick for possession of CDS and Michele for active warrants.  The two were not burglarizing the house but were evicted from the residence a short time ago.  They were both released with pending court dates.  

 

On 11/7/12 at 1:54pm Carrie Ann Feltman, 41, of Westville was arrested for shoplifting from the Brown’s Shop Rite in Brooklawn.  She attempted to steal four Monstor High Dolls totaling $99.96.  Through further investigation she was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Westville.  She was brought to police headquarters processed and then turned over to Westville PD.

 

On 11/8/12 at 7:56am Michelle Lyn Wirt, 40, of National Park was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation she was found to have active warrants for her arrest.  She was taken into custody without incident and transported topolice headquarters.  After being processed she was remanded into the Gloucester County Jail.

 

On 11/9/12 at 8:27pm Keith Allen Burmylo, 44, of Bellmawr was turned over to the Brooklawn Police by Deptford Police for outstanding warrants out of Brooklawn.  He was taken to headquarters, processed, and remanded into the Camden County Jail.

On 11/9/12 at 1:47pm Brooklawn Police Officers, with the assistance of the Camden County Probation Office and a Gloucester City Police Officer, arrested Jeffery Michael Marsden, 26, of Brooklawn for violation of Parole.  Knowing Marsden was inside the apartment Officer’s approached his sister, who actually resides in the apartment, and got consent to search the inside.  Police located Marsden inside sleeping and arrested him without incident  He was processed and remanded into the Camden County Jail.

 

On 11/9/12 at 7:26pm Mario Tomasetto, 42, of Westville, was a passenger in a motor vehicle stop.  Tomasetto was later found to have active warrants for his arrest.  He was arrested, processed, and released after posting partial bail.

 

On 11/9/12 at 10:19pm Judith Ann Tracey, 56, of Westville was involved in motor vehicle accident.  Through further investigation it was determined that Judith Tracey was driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs.  She was arrested and transported to police headquarters.  Judith refused to provide breath samples.  She was issued numerous motor vehicle summonses and released to a sober adult.

 

On 11/10/12 at 5:30pm Shannon Marie Grogg, 39, of Williamstown was arrested for shoplifting after she attempted to steal a 42 inch television valued at $400.00.  Grogg just placed it in a shopping cart and rolled it past the self check-out station and out the exit door.  She was arrested and transported to police headquarters.  Grogg was charged with 4th degree shoplifting and released with a Superior Court Date.

 

On 11/12/12 at 4:00pm Denise Lynn Emerson, 51, of Westville was arrested for shoplifting after she attempted to conceal $41.00 worth of vitamins in her pursue.  Emerson was charged and released with a municipal court date.

 

 

On 11/13/12 at 12:31am police were dispatched to the Westbrook Lnaes for a disturbance inside.  Officers arrested Eric Cecilia, 21, of Camden City for disorderly conduct after he threw a bucket of beer at an employee when he was told to leave.  The suspect was also found to have active warrants for his arrest.  He was charged and released with a municipal court date after posting partial bail on his warrants.  

 

On 11/13/12 at 2:42am police arrested Darrell Melvin Randall,36, of Mullica Hill for burglarizing the Sunoco food mart.  

 

Approximamtely 45 minutes prior to Randall’s arrest police were dispatched to the Sunoco food mart for an alarm.  Officers immediately noticed the front glass door was smashed out and that the business had been entered.  A large rock was used to smash the window.  A witness provided police with a description of the actor and the fleeing vehicle, which left Randall behind after the driver saw the witness calling 911.  Witness said Randall was running down Kings Highway screaming for the vehicle to stop.

 

A Bellmawr Police Sergeant observed Randall walking on creek road matching the description that was broadcasted.  In Randall’s possession were numerous packs of Newport cigarettes, rolling papers, and a case of BIC lighters, which were the items that were reported stolen by a store employee.  A closer look at Randall Officer’s could see tiny glass particles on his neck and in his hair.  He was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters.  Randall did not wish to talk to police about the incident but did voluntarily surrender a glass “crack” pipe that he had in his pants pocket.  He was charged with criminal mischief, burglary, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Randall was remanded into the Camden County Jail on $18,000.00 bail. 

 

On 11/16/12 at 10:37pm William Franklin Phillips Jr., 33, of Deptford, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest.  He was taken to Police Headquarters where he was processed and released with a new court date.

 

On 11/17/12 at 11:pm Krysta Leigh Lacy, 25, of Bellmawr, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  She was found to have numerous active warrants for her arrest in both Camden County and Gloucester County.  She was processed and remanded into the Gloucester County Jail in default of bail.

 

On 11/18/12 at 11:41pm Lamont Dubois Steele, 40, of Pennsauken was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation he was found to have active outstanding warrants for his arrest.  He was processed and released after posting partial bail.  

 

On 11/19/12 at 9:56 officers responded to a hold up alarm at the Citgo Gas Station on Route 130 South.  The victim stated that a black male wearing all black walked up to him and displayed a handgun stating, “give me the money or I’ll shoot you!”  The gas attendant handed the suspect the money and he fled on foot west on Horton Avenue.  Multiple agencies responded and a search of the area was conducted.  The use of a Woodbury K-9 Officer produced a negative result.  Then, approximately 3 hours later, a Broolawn Police Officer was flagged down on Rt. 130 by a different Citgo gas station attendant.  He then stated he was just robbed at gunpoint by the male matching the same description as before.  After Multiple agencies responded to assist with a search the actor was unable to be located, which led police to believe the actor was running to a waiting vehicle. 

 

On 11/30/12 Deptford Police arrested Albert A. Anderson 3rd,  44, of Blackwood, after he and a 17 year old juvenile were caught attempting to rob a gas station in Deptford Township.  After Detectives from numerous police agencies interviewed the actors Brooklawn Police were able to charge them both with the Citgo robbery.  

 

The juvenile was charged with robbery, conspiracy, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for unlawful proposes. He was remanded into the juvenile detention facility.  Albert Anderson 3rd was charged with robbery, conspiracy, and employing a juvenile in a commission of a crime. Hon. Karl set Albert’s bail at $100,000.     

 

On 11/19/12 at 10:16pm Officers responded to 221 Noreg Place for a theft of a metal gate that just occurred.  The victim gave Officers a description of the two actors and the vehicle that they were using at the time.  A short time later the vehicle was located and Officer’s initiated a motor vehicle stop.  After questioning both occupants Officers arrested Daniel Sean Connelly, 32, and his girlfriend lynn, both of which are from Brooklawn.  They admitted to taking the gate but added they thought it was trash.  Both were charged accordingly and transported to the Camden County Jail. 

 

On 11/21/12 at 8:20pm Troy Jamar Reed, 21, of Westville was involved in a domestic disturbance at the Red Carpet Inn.  Through further investigation he was fond to be an N.C.I.C. hit out of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Dept.  He was processed and remanded into the Camden County Jail.

 

On 11/25/12 at 2:33pm Officers responded to the Shop Rite Supermarket for a shoplifter who had fled the area with 14 cans of Similac baby formula.  The suspect was last seen near the KFC.  Officers observed the suspect exiting the Rite Aid Pharmacy with three employees following after him; he had just stolen 7 more cans Similac baby formula for a total of 21 cans.  He was approached by Officers and was arrested without incident.  Kirk Michael Stuart, 36, of Gloucester City, was charged with 2 counts of shoplifting. He was processed and released with a municipal court date.

 

On 11/26/12 at 10:59pm officers responded to the 300 block of Bergen Street for a white male that did not pay his cab fare.  James Merrill Taylor Jr., 49, of Brooklawn was intoxicated and ran away from the cab in an attempt to not to pay the fare.  After a brief search of the area the suspect was located leaning up against another residence on Bergen Street.  When confronted about the incident Mr. Taylor became very argumentative and began screaming at Officers.  He was arrested for disorderly conduct  is wife was notified about the cab fare and settled it without any further police involvement.  Mr. Taylor was processed and released with a municipal court date.

 

On 11/28/12 at 12:15pm Officers were dispatched to the area of the 300 block of Paris Avenue for a black male wearing a black jacket entering unlocked vehicles.  Officers caught up to a male matching that description on New Broadway and Chestnut Street.  After a brief investigation the male, identified as Jerome Rasan Lindey, 31, of Plainfield, was found to be in possession of items that were taken from one of the vehicles that was burglarized.  He was charged with burglary and theft.  He was processed and remanded into the Camden County Jail.
