Joseph Koenig, age 73, of Gloucester City, Vietnam War Army Veteran | cnbnews.net

On November 30, 2012. Surrounded by those who loved and cared for him. Age 73. Of Rosary Gloucester City. Survived by his loving companion of 29 years, Amelia Fountain and her children, Alfred “Aldy” DiGiacomo (Tina), Vincent DiGiacomo (Dawn) and Georgeanne Fagan (John). Dear brother of Frank Koenig and Maria Shaner. Also survived by Amelia’s 6 grandchildren. 

 

Joseph proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked many years at Owens Corning in Barrington. 

 

At his request, cremation will be private. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Catholic prayers of committal on Thursday at 12:30 PM in Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Funeral procession will leave McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME promptly at 11:30 AM.
