GCPD Press release posted October 25th
The Gloucester city Police Department would like to inform everyone that the hours for trick or
treating will be from 4-7pm. The curfew for the night before Halloween will be 8pm. We will have extra staff on hand to see that this event is a safe and enjoyable event for the children. Parents are asked to have a discussion with their children about proper safety during Halloween. Please discard any candy that looks as if it may have been opened. Do not eat anything unless it has been inspected thoroughly. If it looks unusual or discolored in any way throw it away! Children are reminded to use the crosswalk when crossing the street and to wear brightly colored clothing so that they are highly visible. Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween!
