ROWAN WOMEN’S SOCCER SECOND SEED IN NJAC TOURNAMENT

 

GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women’s soccer team is the second seed in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament. The Profs have a bye in the first round and will host a semifinal game on Wednesday, October 31.

In the first round on Saturday, October 27, the fourth seed Richard Stockton College (15-3-2) is home against the fifth seed William Paterson University (9-7-2) at 3:30 p.m. The sixth seed Kean University (10-5-2) travels to the third seed The College of New Jersey (14-1-2) for a 5 p.m. game.


Rowan (12-2-1) plays the winner of the Kean/TCNJ game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. In the other semifinal game, number one Montclair State University (15-1-1) hosts the winner of the William Paterson/Richard Stockton game at 7 p.m. The championship is slated for Saturday, November 3at the highest remaining seed. The NJAC champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
