On October 21, 2012. Age 79. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 56 years to Bernice (nee Richards / Reinhardt). Loving father of Bonnie, Anita (Rick), Donna, John Jr. and Daniel (Tammy). Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

John proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a laborer for the Gloucester City Public Works in the  Highway Department for many years. He was a lifetime member of Townsend C. Young V.F.W Post #3620 in Gloucester City.  John was a “watchman of Bergen Street” and will be missed by everyone on the block. He loved to watch television and sports.

Relatives, friends, Townsend C. Young V.F.W Post and Gloucester City Highway Department are invited to his viewing on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM and again on Thursday morning from 10  to 11:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Interment with Catholic Service and U.S. Army Honors  will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
