Philadelphia Sports Congress release

A Community Outreach Program Extending Beyond the Field of Army-Navy

The Army-Navy Game December 8, 2012 is significant on many levels. Most importantly, it is an opportunity for our community to honor and recognize the brave men and women of our armed forces and their families for their sacrifices on our behalf. Through the Red, White & You Program, the game is utilized as a platform to introduce core values to our region's young people.

Since 2003, the partnership between the Philadelphia Army-Navy Host Committee, Philadelphia School District and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau Foundation has hosted more than 3,500 young people at the game. In addition, the Red, White & You Program provides pre-game educational programs for the students, hosts "Wounded Warriors" at the game, and supports Operation Gratitude in collecting care package items sent to troops overseas.

Supporters of the Red, White & You Program will receive marketing benefits such as scoreboard recognition, and corporate identification in the game program, among others. In addition, companies will receive tickets to the Army-Navy Game, Gala, VIP Tailgate, and parking along with tickets to other exciting events in 2013 such as the NCAA Men's Basketball 2nd & 3rd Rounds at the Wells Fargo Center, NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships at Lincoln Financial Field and the U.S. Open at Merion.
