By Steven Spiewak

September 28-Corey Clement had a Friday night for the ages, rushing for 476 yards and seven touchdowns in a 45-23 Glassboro (N.J.) victory over Gloucester City.

Clement was nearly unstoppable; his 476 rushing yards is the most in South Jersey history, according to Scott Chappelear.

He achieved the total on only 15 carries, according to Glassboro statistician Vic Mangeney.

Heading into his senior season, Clement was already the all-time single season rushing leading in South Jersey by gaining 2,510 yards and 36 touchdowns, breaking a record previously held by Ron Dayne.

In three games this season, Clement has already rushed for 842 yards.

In June, Clement gave a verbal commitment to Pitt. However, he continues to keep his options open and visit other schools.

According to Glassboro head coach Mark Maccarone, Clement has visited Nebraska and intends to visit Wisconsin. He also spent last weekend in South Bend taking in Notre Dame's victory over Michigan.
