Women’s Health Conference

Camden County Senior Health Fair
The annual Senior Health Fair is being held on Oct. 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken. In addition to seasonal flu shots, the event will feature health information tables, activities, prizes and lunch for Camden County residents age 60 and over. RSVP at (800) 955-2446.

Camden County Flu Shot Program

Kings Highway Roadwork
The Camden County Department of Public Works is resurfacing Kings Highway from Oregon Avenue to Park Boulevard in Cherry Hill. When completed in approximately 60 days, the $927,592 project will feature new concrete aprons, curbing, sidewalks and handicap accessible ramps. The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather and other factors. Lane shifts and closures will occur during the construction. Motorists should select alternant routes. Haddonfield Berlin Road Update
Roadway resurfacing work continues on Haddonfield-Berlin Road from Laurel Oak Road to White Horse Road from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The resurfacing is taking place at night to alleviate added traffic congestion in the area. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the construction period. Please choose alternate routes when possible.

Camden County Sports Hall of Fame
The 7th Annual Camden County Sports Hall of Fame Dinner will be held on Oct. 25. At that time, 12 local sports legends will be honored for their contributions to athletics. Tickets are available now for the Camden County Sports Hall of Fame induction dinner. Space is also now being reserved in the dinner program ad book. The deadline to place ads is Sept. 20. 4H Open House
Youth from kindergarten through one year out of high school are invited along with parent and community members to the Camden County 4-H Open House on Oct. 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Camden County Environmental Center, 1301 Park Blvd. in Cherry Hill. Camden County Fall Wine and Beer Festival
More than a dozen wineries from South Jersey’s outer coastal plain will be featured on Oct. 27 and 28 at Campbell’s Field on the Camden Waterfront from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance. For more information, visit www.vintagesouthjersey.com.
