Appreciate Gloucester City Firemen |cnbnews.net

Images Once again, our wonderful and efficient Gloucester City firemen have come to the rescue.

Recently, I had difficultly changing batteries in the old smoke alarms. In frustration, I call the friendly Gloucester City firemen on their non-emergency line 456-0231 and asked for their help.

Within ten minutes, our firemen arrived, bearing gifts of brand-new smoke alarms and fresh batteries, which they happily installed for me, free of charge!

If you have no smoke alarms or no batteries in your home, or if you are having problems with your present alarms, please do yourself and your family, a favor, call Gloucester City’s heroes at 456-0231.

Also, smoke alarms do have a limited shelf life. You should get new alarms every 5-7 years, something I learned from the brave boys in blue.

Sincerely, Monica Kenney, Gloucester City
