25-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Atlantic City

“Would Be" Thieves Apprehended By Police

On Sunday night, July 29th, 2012 at 6:51 PM officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the Divers Academy located on Liberty Place for a reported theft from an exterior fenced in area. While on location with the victim, the initial arriving officer obtained the perpetrators' and their vehicle discriptions and broadcast that information to other patrol units that were actively canvassing the area.
A short while later officers located the suspect vehicle traveling in the area. The vehicle was stopped without incident and its three occupants were detained. Officers also located the items that were stolen from the property within the vehicle's interior.
 
The following subjects were arrested and charged with the following offenses:
 
James E. Saunders, Jr., age 48, of Yorkshire Rd in Erial, NJ: Theft in the 3rd Degree-Bail $10,000.00 10%, Criminal Trespassing and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
 
Judd Williamson, age 53, of St. Moritz Dr. in Erial, NJ: Theft in the 3rd Degree-Bail $10,000.00 10% and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
 
Jennifer Thomas, age 43, of Wenonah, NJ: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She also had outstanding warrants for her arrest.
 
All three subjects were remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of bail.
