Request for Information 6/12/2012 The South Jersey Port Corporation (SJPC) is currently developing the Paulsboro Marine Terminal which is located within the Port of Paulsboro at river mile 90, directly across the Delaware River from the Philadelphia International Airport in the County of Gloucester, New Jersey. SJPC and the State Treasurer are seeking ideas and information to maximize net revenues generated to the State from SJPC through its port operations including, but not limited to the Port of Paulsboro project.

SJPC is now at a pivotal point in the development of that Port. Through a Request for Information (RFI), the State of NJ desires to gather information regarding your company, its services and capabilities in order to further the goals of the State of New Jersey, Gloucester County, the Borough of Paulsboro and the SJPC to determine the best design, operation and use of the Paulsboro Marine Terminal, and any other port operated by SJPC.

The RFI package can be obtained on request in writing to Kevin Castagnola, Executive Director & CEO, South Jersey Port Corporation at kcastagnola at southjerseyport dot com, by facsimile to 856-757-4903 or by mail to 101 Joseph A. Balzano Boulevard, Camden, New Jersey 08103. The deadline for responses to the RFI is July 10, 2012 by 1:00 p.m., EST.

Please note that this is an RFI, not a Request for Proposal (“RFP”). Responses to this RFI will not lead directly to a contractual relationship between a vendor(s) and/or tenant(s) and the South Jersey Port Corporation or the State. The SJPC reserves the right to use, adopt or incorporate any recommendations presented in the responses to this RFI. Neither the SJPC/State nor the responding vendor or interested party has any obligation under this RFI. A vendor or interested party responding to this RFI is responsible for its own costs of responding, and is not guaranteed in any way that it will secure a contract or agreement with the SJPC. While it is anticipated that respondents to this RFI maybe vendors and/or tenants, the SJPC solicits information from any interested party on the topics described in the RFI.
