Atlantic 10 Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Matchups
La Salle will play home and home with George Washington
PHILADELPHIA – The Atlantic 10 Conference will once again play a 16-game men's basketball conference schedule in 2012-13, which allows teams to face each opponent once and one team twice. The complete 2012-13 Conference schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date.
The Explorers will play a home and home series with George Washington and will host Butler, Dayton, Duquesne, Fordham, Massachusetts, Richmond and Saint Joseph’s.
Road games include Charlotte, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis, Temple, VCU and Xavier.
La Salle returns four of five starters from last year’s 21-13 NIT team, including Second Team All-Atlantic 10 selection Ramon Galloway, NABC All-District pick Tyreek Duren, Atlantic 10 All-Rookie selection Jerrell Wright and double-figure scorer Sam Mills.
The Explorers will add Virginia Tech transfer Tyrone Garland, redshirt freshman Rohan Brown and fall signee Jermaine Davis.

Atlantic 10 Matchups Announced for La Salle Women’s Basketball
PHILADELPHIA - The Atlantic 10 Conference has released its matchups for the 2012-13 women's basketball season.
With the addition of Butler and Virginia Commonwealth for the upcoming season to bring the league total to 16, the women's squad will see 14 conference opponents once with one team not on the schedule. The Explorers will not see Richmond this year.
The Explorers will host Butler, Charlotte, Duquesne, Fordham, George Washington, Rhode Island and Saint Louis.
The squad will travel to Dayton, Massachusetts, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph's, Temple, VCU and Xavier.
Atlantic 10 All-Conference Third Teamer and Big 5 First Teamer Brittany Wilson along with All-Rookie pickJada Payne return to the lineup. The squad also welcomes the addition of three freshmen along with transfers Leeza Burdgess from Pitt and Shanel Harrison from Virginia Tech.
The format of the Atlantic 10 Championship remains the same, with the top 12 teams advancing. The site has yet to be determined.
