(cnbnews.net)Polish native son Tomasz Adamek is planning to stay very busy as he continues to chase his second shot at the world heavyweight title.

Adamek is scheduled to see action on Sept. 8th at The Prudential Center in Newark and if everything goes as planned he will fight again in the United States in December. So far, no names have been announced for either bout.  Eddie Chambers will not be available because of his arm recovery.

Beaten only by heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, Adamek could grab a third belt yet.  He has already won the light-heavy and cruiserweight championships

Whatever anyone thought about the Chambers fight, it is generally understood that Adamek is a fighter to be reckoned with.  Adamek is one of the worlds most popular and exciting heavyweights and he is keeping his legions of followers happy by fighting on a regular basis.

The World Boxing Association (WBA) Heavyweight Champion Alexander Povetkin will not be able to defend his title on July 14, in Hamburg.  The fight card at the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle has been called off due to an injury sustained by the challenger Hasim Rahman.  The number one WBA ranked heavyweight needed an operation to remove a cyst on his right hand.  There wasn’t enough time to find a respectable replacement.
