Obituary: Tony Frye of Audubon, age 96

Tony Frye of Audubon, N.J. Tony Frye passed away on May 21, 2012. He was 96 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Frye (nee Booth). He was the dear father of Nancy Frye Brice, Diane (Dave) Hollingshead, Joseph (Pat) Frye and Gail Capriotti; grandfather of Curtis Jentsch, Michelle and Andrea Brice, Joseph Frye, Jr., the late Richard Frye, Deana Gresham, David Hollingshead, Dawn Cumella and Anthony Buchanan. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Frye was a WWII U.S. Maritime Service veteran. He owned and operated Frye's Moving & Storage for over 60 years. He was a member of the Oaklyn-Bettlewood Post #84 American Legion. He was also an avid writer of poetry and had over 500 editorials printed by the Courier-Post. Tony was known for his baking and keen sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, N.J. His funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Interment at the convenience of the family in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J.
