(cnbnews.net)Several things going on right now in Bellmawr... instead of my usual wordy self, here's some quick hits.
Bellmawr Concert in The Park
Up first on Thursday May 31st, is Bellmawr's First Annual "Concert in the Park". This innagural event features cover band BlackHorse and will be held at the Recreation Center (Bell and Creek Rds) from 7-9pm. The band's website lists Journey, Boston and Foreigner as some of their top covered bands. Food and drinks will be available.
Bellmawr Run For Education
Saturday June 2nd brings a 5k run back to Bellmawr, when the Bellmawr Board of Education hosts a triple threat event featuring a 5k, a kids walk, and a family walk. Please see the web site for information on registering and any applicable fees.
Water and Bike Safety Night
On Monday June 4th, the Bellmawr School District is sponsoring a Water and Bike Safety Night. Held at 6pm at the Bellmawr Park School, it will feature bike safety inspections, helmet safety and laws... plus free water ice, door prizes and Josh the Otter!. Primary Election Day - Council seats
Tuesday June 5th brings us the Primary elections. Yes its a Presidential year... but my focus is much smaller. As is the case each year, 2 of the 6 council seats are up for election, and this year brings 2 additional groups into the mix... one team for Republicans and another for Democrats.

Bellmawr Summer Youth Program
And once again, Bellmawr is sponsoring a summer youth program. Director Dawn Gillis will be running the program through July, and registration is on June 29th. For details, please check the PDF flyer available at the Bellmawr.com website.
