Gloucester Catholic (24-4, 10-0) has won seven games in a row, Tri-County - Diamond's longest active win streak. In the past week, the Rams won another four games, including a 5-0 victory over Buena and a 7-1 win over Holy Spirit. Brett Tenuto led Gloucester Catholic's offense with three hits and zero RBIs this week.
Behind a 4-0 record over the past week, the Rams made the biggest jump in the national rankings, all the way from 747 to 545. Gloucester Catholic is currently No. 10 in the state of New Jersey, with an overall record of 24-4.
After surrendering only one walks in the past week, the Rams remain No. 1 in that category for the season, with just 35 total.
Gloucester Catholic's Steve Mondile threw five shutout innings in a 6-0 win over Kingsway on Tuesday. He pitched five scoreless innings and struck out seven, while giving up five hits.
Giovanni Gussen was the player of the game on Tuesday, with four RBIs in Gloucester Catholic's 6-0 victory over Kingsway.

New Jersey High School Baseball - Gloucester Catholic defeats Holy Cross
(May 29, 2012: Delran, NJ 08075) Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Gloucester Catholic Rams (Gloucester City, NJ) and the host Holy Cross Lancers (Delran, NJ), saw Gloucester Catholic's baseball squad knock off Holy Cross by a count of 12-5.
The Rams (24-4) will now prepare for their match against Buena (Buena, NJ). The Chiefs go into the non-league match with a 21-7 record. In their last match, Buena was overwhelmed by Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ), 5-0, in a non-league match.
