  Gloucester Catholic principal John Colman congratulates female athlete of the year Devin Dougherty.

GLASSBORO – Gloucester Catholic High School honored its sports standouts with special awards during its Annual Sports Banquet on Monday, May 16, at Masso’s Catering in Glassboro. 

Among the honorees were:

•  Lanny Letgzus Award: Shane Ward
•  Tom Delengowski Award: Jason Moore
•  Male Athlete of the Year: Elliott McCummings
•  Female Athlete of the Year: Devin Dougherty
•  Boy of the Year: Jake Turner
•  Girl of the Year: Christie Orgera
• Al Carelli Scholar Athlete of the Year: Tim Scaffidi
• Browning Ross Leadership Award: Tim Collins/Rich Raspa

In addition, nearly 75 male and female athletes were honored in 21 sports for their accomplishments during the 2011-2012 school year.
