Browning Road resurfacing project to begin in Bellmawr | NJ.com

A half-mile section of Browning Road here will be resurfaced beginning Thursday, the Camden Oldie00034 County Department of Public Works announced.

The $485,400 project will include the resurfacing of the roadway from Lewis Avenue to Belmont Avenue.  This phase of the project involved the repair of concrete joint repairs throughout the project’s limits.  When it is completed, the roadway will feature new concrete curbing, handicap accessible ramps, reset manhole castings, traffic striping and raised pavement markers.

“Although every attempt will be made to keep the road passable during the construction, motorists should be aware of this project and choose an alternate route to avoid delays,” said Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works.
