Special Victims Unit Seeks Assistance in Identifying Suspect Depicted in Surveillance Video

The Philadelphia Police Department is looking for the suspect responsible for a pattern of indecent assaults in the 6th District. On two occasions the victims were approached from behind by an unknown male who grabbed their buttocks.
On April 26, 2012, at 4:55 PM, after leaving the Chinatown Learning Center the complainant was walking on the 1000 block of Spring Street. An unknown male approached her from behind her and touched her buttocks. The male then fled in an unknown direction.
On April 26, 2012, at 6:25pm, a second complainant, while walking north on 11th Street toward Vine Street an unknown male walked by her. This male then turned and approached her from behind and also touched her buttocks and fled in an unknown direction.
- Suspect Description:
Black male, 30 years-of-age, 5’8”-5’-9”, thin build, medium complexion, clean shaven, wearing a dark blue short sleeved shirt with white designs, black sweat pants.
