(cnbnews.net)On 4/16/2012, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving an ambulance that was transporting a patient. Police officers located the crash at the intersection of Evesham Road and Central Avenue in the Glendora section of the Township.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the ambulance, which belongs to the Magnolia Emergency Medical Services, was transporting a patient west bound on Evesham Road to Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury NJ. As the ambulance approached the intersection of Evesham Road and Central Ave., a Dodge Neon also traveling west on Evesham Road attempted to make a left turn onto Central Avenue. The ambulance, operating with its emergency lights and siren activated, collided with the second vehicle.
A EMT tending to the patient inside of the ambulance was taken to an area hospital for observations. The original patient, who was not injured in the crash, was transferred to a Gloucester Township EMS ambulance and continued on the way to Underwood Memorial. The driver of the Neon, along with a passenger, were transported to Cooper Medical Center in Camden NJ for treatment of minor injuries. All three injured parties were expected to be released. The roadway was closed for a approximately twenty minutes during the investigation.
This crash is currently under investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Traffic Safety Bureau and no summonses were issued.

2.Dominick Kusch (Passenger) Lillian Place Glendora, NJ Age: 16
3. Furbie Ververelli (Ambulance Passenger) Magnolia EMS, Magnolia, NJ Age: 44
