Things are always changing. We get a new job, get fired, get married, get divorced, or are challenged in a hundred different ways. That’s life.
But, what about Fido?
Your pets ‘feel’ changes and can react to them either negatively or positively,
If you are facing a change in your relationship or considering a new one, don’t forget about easing into that transition by presenting it in a positive light to your pets. And, please remember that dogs and cats are not disposable: they feel pain and suffer emotional trauma. If your new love interest asks you to ‘get rid of’ your pet, perhaps it’s time to reconsider whether he or she is worth the loss of your best friend.
