Gloucester City Police Dept. Crime Report, released March 16, 2012
On 03/14 at 1745 officers executed a search warrant on a vehicle on Sussex and Ridgeway Streets. The male suspect had been delivering crack cocaine to various city residents for several months. As a result of the search warrant officers arrested Robert Baylock (47) of Camden City. Officers located 18 bags of crack cocaine and $377 in U.S. Currency inside of the vehicle. Baylock was charged with Possession of CDS with the Intent to Distribute and remanded to the Camden County Jail.
In other matters,
On 03/10 at 2340 an officer was monitoring traffic on Route 130 at Market Street. A vehicle pulled next to him and the male driver exited and asked the officer for directions to Camden City. As the officer was speaking with the male he determined that he was intoxicated and placed him under arrest. Rudolph Irving (36) of Philadelphia was charged with DWI. A breath test showed his blood alcohol to be .18%.
On 03/12 at 1912 officers responded to Somerset and Burlington for a fight call which was originally a domestic violence complaint. As a result of the call the officers arrested Joseph Bishop (23) of the 200 block of Essex Street, Joseph Taylor (22) also of the 200 block of Essex Street and Alvin Fulmer (41) of the unit block of S. Burlington Street. Bishop and Taylor were both charged with Disorderly Conduct. Fulmer was charged with Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest and Obstruction of Justice. All were released pending a municipal court date.
On 03/12 at 1755 a motor vehicle stop on the 300 block of Mercer Street led to the arrest of Stephen Coll (35) of Blue Anchor. Coll was found to be in possession of 10 vials of marijuana.
On 03/12 at 1554 Andrew Stosny was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Morris and Filmore Streets. Stosny was found to be in possession of 9 bags of marijuana.
On 03/12 at 1854 it was reported that two vehicles parked at Broadway and Essex were burglarized over night. CD players and remote controls were stolen.
On 03/13 at 1831 officers responded to the boarding house at 801 Jersey Ave for two males fighting each other with bricks. Anthony Poradosky (36) and John Puskar (49), both residents of the boarding house, were charged with Disorderly Conduct.
On 03/13 at 0850 a resident of the 100 block of S. King Street reported that sometime overnight on 03/11 unknown suspect(s) stole a television from his residence.
On 03/15 at 0841 a driver for Always Affordable Cab Company reported that a white female named “Kim” failed to pay a cab fare of $35.00. The female fled into an alleyway on Orange Street and was not located.
On 03/15 at 0430 officers arrested Wayne O’Toole (49) of Pitman after learning that he had burglarized five vehicles parked in the Riverview Heights section of the city. O’Toole was charged with multiple counts of Burglary and Theft. Proceeds from the burglary were located later in the day on the railroad tracks between Gloucester City and Brooklawn.
Additionally, officers responded to 14 domestic violence incidents, 4 motor vehicle accidents and made 39 arrests.
