CHERRY HILL — Gloucester Catholic High School was the recipient of the Adam Taliaferro Foundation’s Coaches Award during the ATF Awards Recognition Dinner on Thursday, March 15, at The Coastline Restaurant in Cherry Hill.

Tom Iacovone, Jr., who has headed GCHS’s participation in the foundation’s annual Player of the Year Contest since 2007, thanked ATF Board members and the more than 175 guests in attendance.

GCHS raised close to $4,000 in this past fall’s ATF Player of the Year Contest, with funds going toward scholarships and programs to help individuals with spinal cord injuries.

Presenting Board member Tom Curley thanked Mr. Iacovone and Gloucester Catholic for consistently finishing as one of the top schools in fund raising each year for the Taliaferro Foundation.

Gloucester Catholic will once again be honored by the Foundation and the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, March 22, for its efforts in supporting the Player of the Year Contest
