ACA Invites Community Members to Add Their Voice to Upcoming Marketing Campaign
ATLANTIC CITY (February 27, 2012) — The Atlantic City Alliance (ACA), in partnership with the Atlantic City Hospitality & Lodging Association, Greater Atlantic City Chamber and Longport Media, announced that it will hold a Community Forum entitled “Do AC Proud”. The event is part of the ACA’s planned media campaign to promote Atlantic City as a great place to shop, dine, and play.
The Community Forum will allow community leaders, business leaders and the general public to contribute to the ACA’s marketing program that will launch this spring. As part of the process, the ACA is inviting interested parties in the community to add their ideas and personal stories about what makes Atlantic City a special place to visit.
The Community Forum will be held on March 1, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. ET at the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City. Long-time resident and Atlantic City advocate Tom LaMaine will serve as moderator and host. Light refreshments will be available. Participants will have the opportunity to have their stories filmed for potential use in the marketing program, as well as broadcast live by Longport Media on WOND.
“This Community Forum is a great opportunity to bring residents together to share their stories and support Atlantic City’s efforts to promote the city’s shopping, dining, and entertainment attractions in a whole new light. The community is the heart and soul of Atlantic City and have great insight into what makes Atlantic City so special today and in years past,” said Liza Cartmell, CEO, ACA. “We are excited to launch this new effort and to begin promoting the great breadth of offerings that exist among Atlantic City’s substantial tourist attractions.”
Interested parties can share their stories in advance of the Forum by going to doacproud.com and filling in the survey.
