William W. Ulbin Jr., of Jensen Beach Florida, Member of Local Union 322, GCHS Alumni Class of '70

Suddenly, on January 23, 2012. Age 59. Of Jensen Beach, FL. Formerly of Gloucester City.

Cherished son of the late William W. Ulbin, Sr. and Elizabeth Ulbin (nee Schmidt). Loving brother of Daniel M. Ulbin and Ruthann Ulbin. Beloved uncle of Matthew (Jayme), Stephen and Danielle. Loving great-uncle of Natalia. Also survived by his many dear friends in Florida.

Bill was a 1970 graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School where he captained the 1970 Boys Basketball State Championship Team. He received a Masters of Science Degree from American University in 1976 where he was a standout Basketball player. Bill continued at American U for two more years as a graduate assistant basketball coach. He was a 33 year member of the Pipefitters and Plumbers UA  Local Union 322.  Most recently Bill was Site Manager for Williams Plant Services at Palisades Nuclear Facility in Michigan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday evening from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:30 PM in the church. Inurnment will be private in New St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to St. Mary’s Church: at the above church address. In the memo, please write: William W.
