TD Bank Robbed Again; Gloucester City Police Apprehend Suspect |

(, January 11 at  2:56 PM Gloucester City Police responded to the TD Bank, South Broadway and Cumberland Street for a panic alarm.  


Gloucester City Police Lt. Brian Morrell, spokesperson for the department, said, "Arriving officers were advised that a white male passed a note to the teller demanding money.  The suspect was given money with a dye pack before fleeing the back on foot. Witnesses were able to provide officers with a description of the suspect and a direction of travel.  At 1501 hours officers located the suspect at Broadway and Hudson Street and placed him under arrest."


 Steven Hill (54) of the 200 block of N. Broadway was found to be still holding the money and demand note when placed under arrest. Hill was charged with 2nd degree Robbery and remanded to the Camden County Corrections 6a00d8341bf7d953ef01675f7e6cd2970b-200wiFacility.


The same TD Bank was robbed 16 days ago on December 26. Police apprehended that suspect, Benjamin Alford, in a Bellmawr Motel without incident two days later on December 28.  Alford (mug shot) of Deptford was charged with 2nd degree Robbery and Possession of CDS (heroin).  He was remanded to the Camden County Corrections Facility.
