Obituary: Thomas F. Reed, of Gloucester City, Owner of Dockside Canvas, Rams Class of '59

(cnbnews.net) Surrounded by his loving family, on January 15, 2012. Age 70. Of Gloucester City. Loving 6a00d8341bf7d953ef01539037fcc3970b-200wi husband of 51 years to Kathleen “Kass” (nee McGovern). Loving father of Thomas F. Reed, Jr. (Antoinette), Kathy Friedrich (Edward), Karen Jackson (Ray) and Brian Reed (Kathy). Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Melissa, Amanda, Raymond, Eddie, Sean, Steven, Briana, Cassie, Matt and Luke. Dear brother of Catherine Guinan, Dorothy Schone and Charles Reed.

 

Thomas earned the status of Master Fabric Craftsman while being the owner and operator of Dockside Canvas. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and was a proud member of the Notre Dame Club of South Jersey. GO IRISH!!  Tom graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School, Class of 1959. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and again on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., 6a00d8341bf7d953ef0162fc54df88970d-320wiGloucester City.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to Lourdes Health Foundation, Our Lady Campaign: 1600 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103. In the memo, please write: Thomas F. Reed.
