Gloucester City PD Crime Report for period January 19 through January 25

On 01/19 at 1604 it was reported that unknown suspect(s) entered an abandoned property on the


500 block of Chambers Ave and stole the copper pipes, bathroom fixtures and kitchen sink.


On 01/20 at 1705 a resident of the unit block of N. Broadway reported that unknown suspect(s) forced entry into their apartment and stole cash, cellular phones and medication. 


On 01/20 at 1307 a resident of the 600 block of N. Brown Street reported that on 01/19 at 2000 hours unknown suspect(s) broke two windows on her vehicle and dented the driver’s side of the vehicle.


On 01/20 at 0948 a resident of the 900 block of Somerset Street reported that sometime overnight two tires on her vehicle were slashed.


On 01/20 at 0844 a resident of the 100 block of N. Brown Street reported that sometime overnight his 2006 Chevy van was stolen from the driveway of the residence.


On 01/21 at 1222 a resident of the 700 block of Cherry Street reported that sometime between 01/18 and 01/21 unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into the residence via the rear windows and door.  No entry was made, however, the rear door was damaged.


On 01/22 at 0051 a 2005 Dodge Caravan was stolen from the parking lot of O’Donnell’s restaurant.  The vehicle was recovered at 1400 hours in Camden City.


On 01/22 at 2154 a vehicle parked on the lot of DJ’s Auto had the tire punctured by unknown suspect(s).


On 01/23 at 2100 a motor vehicle stop on Broadway and Morris Street led to the arrest of Jacquelin Kittell (32) of the 300 block of Morris Street.  Kittell was found to be in possession of 14 bags of heroin and a hypodermic syringe.  Kittell was charged with Possession of CDS w/ Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe.


On 01/24 at 1357 a resident of the 700 block of Market Street reported that the phone and cable wires on the side of the residence were cut.


On 01/24 at 0921 City Nails on S. Broadway reported that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the business.  Cash, nail products and a television were reported stolen.


On 01/25 at 2238 officers responded to the Dollar General on S. Broadway for an alarm activation.  Witnesses observed an unknown white male at the rear door prior to the alarm activation.  No entry was made into the business.


On 01/25 at 1905 Kimberly Cathcart (44) of the 400 block of Highland Blvd was arrested and charged with Shoplifting after stealing ice cream from WaWa.


On 01/25 at 1917 Dollar General reported that an unknown black male stole a Verizon pre-pay cell phone from the store.


Additionally, officers responded to 15 domestic violence incidents, 7 motor vehicle accidents and made 23 arrests.
