Pet Tip of the Week: Deck the Halls & Walk the Dog

 by Dawn Watson

Sedna and SantaCNBnews.net

Tonight is the big night. You know the one I mean: the halls are decked, the stockings are hung, etc. You’re exhausted and ready for bed.

But, what about Fido?

Before you take that last walk upstairs to check on the kids, check for the following:

  • Are the stockings hung high enough so that Fido can’t destroy them—and what they hold, inside?
  • Are ornaments out of Fido’s way or will you awaken to the crunching of glass and have to spend Christmas day waiting at an emergency veterinary hospital?
  • Are the cookies in tight containers so that Fido can’t gorge himself on them?
  • Have you taken Fido out for one last walk so he doesn’t “christen” the presents under the tree?
  • These small but important steps will ensure that Christmas morning will be Banner frustration-free and a happy one for the whole family!

Wishing all of you a merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, and a healthy, safe New Year!
