Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle, Police Looking for Driver


The Gloucester Township Police are seeking the public's assistance with the Unknown-1 investigation of a reported hit and run pedestrian motor vehicle crash that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, December 18th, 2011 on Jarvis Road just east of Sicklerville Road.

The vehicle in question is believed to be a German made product, possibly a BMW, and is missing its driver side view mirror. The hit and run vehicle is believed to be blue and was reportedly traveling east bound on Jarvis Road from Sicklerville Road toward Williamstown Road.

The adult male that was struck was taken to an area hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone having any information or knowledge of the whereabouts and owner/driver of the fleeing blue vehicle is encouraged to call the Gloucester Township Police Department.
