Obituary: Viola M. DeMaris of Gloucester City

On December 12, 2011. Age 93. (nee Tice) Lifelong resident of Gloucester City. Predeceased by the love of her life, Pvt. Albert C. Hobbs Jr., by Earl F. Whitaker, a warm, gentle and loving husband, and by her third husband Charles DeMaris. Survived by her loving son Albert C. Hobbs 3rd and his wife Patricia Hobbs, her grandchildren Albert Hobbs and Dr. Jennifer Szabo (Doug) and her great grandchildren Benjamin and Lily Szabo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Resurrection and Burial Office will be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church: 18 White Horse Pike (at Green St.), Haddon Heights. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
