On 11/10/11 at 8:40 p.m. Karen Little, 46, a resident of Deptford, was arrested in the 300 block of Sherman Street for possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 11/11/11 at 12:06 a.m. officers responded to C.W. Clarke Auto Sales for a burglary alarm activation.  Upon arrival the officers observed a lower window on one of the garage doors had been smashed.  The incident was recorded on surveillance video.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/11/11 at 2:39 a.m. an officer on patrol observed a woman sitting in a parked car on Essex Street at Brown Street.  When the officer approached the woman he observed two baggies of crack cocaine in the driver’s door armrest.  Jacqueline Burdick, 25, a resident of Sayerville was arrested for possession of CDS.

On 11/11/11 at 9:00 a.m. an officer on foot patrol observed one of the walkway lights at Freedom Pier had been tampered with and parts of the light had been removed.

On 11/11/2011 at 1:53 p.m. Craig O’Neil, 34, a resident off the 800 block of Little Somerset Street was arrested for contempt.   He was remanded to Camden County Jail.

On 11/12/11 at 8:06 p.m. officers responded to an abandoned property on S. Burlington Street for a report of a male entering the house through a window.  Officers searched the house but found nobody inside.  

On 11/12/11 at 3:25 p.m. officers responded to Broadway at Division Street for a report of a strong arm robbery.  Officers located the victim, Toto Diaz Jr., who reported two juvenile males, approximately four feet tall, pushed him and stole $5 from him.  Several people who were outside in the area reported they only saw the victim and no suspects or a robbery.

On 11/12/2011 at 9:01 p.m. Kristen Vandunk, 27 and Kristen Zieger, 29, both residents of Howell, were arrested in the parking lot of the Gloucester City Marina for possession of CDS and Hypodermic Syringes after being found in possession of (19) baggies of heroin and syringes.

On 11/13/11 at 9:32 a.m. an officer on foot patrol observed one of the walk way lights at Freedom Pier had been vandalized.

On 11/13/11 at 5:19 p.m. officers responded to the Citgo gas station on Broadway for a report of a male who was assaulted.  Upon arrival officers observed the victim, Tito Diaz Jr., 25, presently homeless, in the parking lot with a laceration on his face.  He reported two juvenile males assaulted him and fled on their bikes.  An ambulance responded to the scene to treat Mr. Diaz.  Mr. Diaz refused to go to the hospital because he did not want to leave his beer behind.  He said he would go to the hospital after he finished drinking his beer.

On 11/13/11 at 11:54 a.m. Nicole Bruce, 31, a resident of Camden was arrested on the Railroad tracks at S. Stinson Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe and bail jumping for failing to appear for court in Stratford.  She was later released on bail.

On 11/14/11 at 4:38 p.m. William Lee, 48, presently homeless, was arrested on Broadway at Monmouth Street for urinating in public.

On 11/14/11 at 4:40 p.m. officers responded to Fourth Street at Powell Street for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival the engine compartment of a vehicle was found to be on fire.  The fire was extinguished by G.C.F.D. personnel.

On 11/14/11 at 7:32 p.m. Michelle Powell, 23, a resident of Westminster Avenue was arrested on Market Street for driving on a suspended license.

On 11/15/11 at 3:38 a.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Broadway at Passaic Street.  As a result, Thonh Kim, 29, a resident of Camden was arrested for driving on a suspended license and possession of CDS after being found to be in possession of ecstasy pills.

On 11/15/11 at 10:37 p.m. a detective observed two males on N. Stinson Avenue who matched the description of two males who had just committed an armed robbery at the Citgo gas station in Brooklawn earlier in the evening.  The males were positively identified by the victim.  Both males, Michael Fels, 26, a resident of the 300 block of Middlesex Street and Christopher Temmermand, 24, a resident of the 200 block of Middlesex Street were arrested and turned over to Brooklawn Police.

On 11/16/11 at 6:44 a.m. a resident of Oriental Avenue reported sometime overnight unknown person(s) entered his unlocked car and stole change and prescription medication.

On 11/16/11 an 11 year old male student at Mary Ethel Costello School was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon after having brought a Swiss army knife to school and threatened another student with the knife.

On 11/16/2011 a 14 year old male student at Gloucester City High School was arrested for disorderly conduct due to his behavior in class.

On 11/`16/2011 at 6:52 p.m. officers responded to an abandoned house on S. Burlington Street for a report of a burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, an officer found Tito Diaz Jr., 25, presently homeless, sitting in the living room drinking a beer.  He was subsequently arrested for defiant trespass and criminal mischief.

 

On 11/16/11 at 7:00 p.m. officers, along with the Zone 5 Critical Incident Team, executed a search warrant at 854 Powell Street culminating an investigation into narcotics distribution from the residence.  As a result, residents Lawrence Williams, 21 and Debra Rayner, 25 were arrested Distribution of CDS.  A quantity of prescription medication was seized as well.

On 11/17/11 at 1:48 a.m. Troy Reed, 20, a resident of the 400 block of Market Street was arrested on Broadway for Contempt.  He was remanded to Camden County Jail.

On 11/17/11 at 8:15 a.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Broadway at Market Street.  As a result, Zahara Scott, 26, a resident of Camden was arrested for driving on a suspended license and bail jumping for failing to appear in court in Gloucester Twp.  She was later released on bail.

On 11/17/11 at 6:42 p.m. an officer responded to the CVS for a reported shoplifting.  The male suspect had fled from the store prior to arrival; however, surveillance video of the suspect was attained.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/17/11 at 10:12 p.m. William Middleton, 22, a resident of the 200 block of Cumberland Street was arrested on Market Street at Fifth Street for Contempt and possession of CDS after being found to be in possession of a quantity of prescription medication.  He was later released after posting bail.

On 11/17/11 at 10:23 p.m.  Ernest Mitchell Jr., 32, a resident of the 900 block of Jersey Avenue was arrested on Broadway at Market Street for contempt.  He was later released after posting bail.

On 11/18/11 at 1:30 a.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Eighth Street at Division Street.  As a result, Joseph Ribchinsky, 39, a resident of the 800 block of Division Street  was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

On 11/18/11 a resident of Yale Avenue called to report she found two bullet holes in her garage door.  She also reported that on 11/14/11 at approximately 7:00 p.m. she thought she heard gunshots, but didn’t notify the police.  Further investigation revealed two bullet holes in the door, two chips in the cinder block wall at the back of the garage and lead fragments on the floor.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/19/11 at 7:20 a.m. a resident of the 500 block of Essex Street reported sometime overnight her front porch window was broken.

On 11/19/11 at 11:20 a.m. an employee at the Gloucester City Water Department reported sometime overnight a window was broken on the Water Department building.

On 11/19/11 at 11:57 a.m. a resident of S. Stinson Avenue reported sometime overnight unknown person(s) stole a cast iron chimney and four patio blocks from her back yard.

On 11/19/11 at 12:40 p.m. an officer conducted a car stop on two cars in the 900 block of Market Street.   The officer observed one of the cars chasing the other at a high rate of speed through the Riverview Heights section of the city.  As a result of the stop, a 16 year old male from the 300 block of Somerset Street and a 17 year old female from the 200 block of S. Broadway (both drivers) were arrested for disorderly conduct and various motor vehicle offenses.  At the time of the arrest, the juvenile female explained to the officer that her daddy was a lawyer and that he had no idea.

On 11/19/11 at 7:33 p.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Broadway at King Street.  As a result, Charles Acheson, 39, a resident of Woodbury Heights, was arrested for driving on a suspended license and possession of CDS after being found in possession of a quantity of prescription medication.

On 11/20/11 at 4:42 a.m. an officer on patrol observed a male attempting to pull open the driver’s door of a van parked on Atlantic Street near Somerset Street.  When the male saw the officer he fled towards Somerset Street.  The officer caught up with the male in the 400 block of Somerset Street.  The male, 15, a resident of the 200 block of N. Willow Street was subsequently arrested for criminal attempt burglary and curfew violation.

On 11/21/11 at 6:38 a.m. Anthony Boss Sr., 49, a resident of the 800 block of Market Street was arrested in the 200 block of S. Market Street for drinking in public.

On 11/21/11 a resident of the 300 block of Somerset Street reported sometime over the weekend unknown person(s) entered his car, popped the hood open and damaged the ignition column.

On 11/21/11 at 9:02 a.m. Heather Holmes, 45, a resident of Rutgers Avenue was arrested on Johnson Blvd. at Mercer Street for Contempt.  She was later released after posting bail.

On 11/21/11 at 12:00 p.m. a resident of the 1500 block of Market Street reported sometime overnight unknown person(s) entered her unlocked car in her driveway and stole $10.

On 11/22/11 at 3:10 p.m. an officer responded to the CVS for a reported shoplifting.  The male fled prior to the officer’s arrival.  Surveillance video of the male was attained.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/23/11 at 10:45 a.m. Keith Burmylo, 43, a resident of Bellmawr was arrested on Broadway at Sherman Street for Contempt.  He was remanded to Camden County Jail.

On 11/23/11 at 2:30 p.m. the Detective Bureau initiated an investigation into missing funds at Gloucester City High School.  A portion of the funds raised during a fundraiser run by the school and the school PTO have been reported missing by the school administration.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/23/11 at 11:13 p.m. an officer observed a male walking in the 200 block of Monmouth Street drinking a bottle of beer.  Michael Larkey, 22, a resident of Woodbury, was arrested and charged with drinking in public.

On 11/23/11 at 11:49 p.m. an officer observed two males exit Oh! Hara’s Pub and walk away drinking beer.  The males, Michael Ferris Jr., 22, a resident of Sicklerville and Stephen Emmert, 21, a resident of Sicklerville were arrested and charged drinking in public.  

On 11/23/11 at 11:50 p.m. an officer observed three females exit the Dog House Bar and cross King Street carrying bottles of beer and drinking from them.  Alyssa Zweigle, 22, a resident of Sewell, Casey Zweigle, 21, a resident of Sewell and Lindsay Milewski, 22, a resident of the 800 block of Cumberland Street were arrested and charged with drinking in public.

On 11/23/11 at 11:58 p.m. an officer observed a male exit the Dog House Bar and walk towards Oh! Hara’s bar with an open bottle of beer and drinking from the same.  Timothy Brantley, 24, a resident of Glendora was arrested and charged with drinking in public.

On 11/24/11 at 12:01 a.m. an officer observed a male walking on King Street at Bergen Street drinking a bottle of beer.  David Voit, 22, a resident of Mullica Hill was arrested and charged with drinking in public.

On 11/24/11 at 12:35 p.m. an officer observed a male exit Oh! Hara’s bar and walk away while drinking a draft beer.  Mark Siracusa, 21, a resident of Blackwood was arrested and charged with drinking in public.

On 11/24/11 at 1:24 a.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Sherwood Avenue at Rosalind Avenue.  As a result, Stephen Flinn, 57, a resident of the 1000 block of Market Street was arrested for DWI.  He was later found to have a B.A.C. of .14%.

On 11/24/11 at 1:43 a.m. officers responded to the Dog House Bar for a large fight inside the bar.  Upon arrival officers found approximately 100 people inside the bar.   Assistance from area police departments was requested to control the crowd and the bar was shut down for the night.  As the crowd was being dispersed, one female refused to leave and acted in a disorderly manner towards the officer.  Stella Raab, 22, a resident of East Orange, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

On 11/24/11 at 9:24 p.m. officers responded to Rt. 130 and Market Street for a report of a car fire.  Upon arrival the car was observed to be on fire and G.C.F.D. personnel extinguished the fire.

On 11/26/11 at 1:37 a.m. officers responded to Broadway at Morris Street for a reported fight involving numerous people.  Upon arrival several people were on location screaming, out of control and a male was observed lying on the ground.  The male lying on the ground had been punched and fell to the ground injuring his head.  He was extremely intoxicated and vomited all over the officer assisting him.  After the situation was brought under control, Colin Ribchinsky, 21, a resident of Woodbury was arrested for simple assault.  Ryan Ribchinsky, 22, a resident of National Park was arrested for simple assault and disorderly conduct.  Amanda Valentino, 21, a resident of Williamstown was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.  A relative of one of those involved told officers that they were all at the Dog House Bar when the altercation started and they all left the bar in the same car.  A physical altercation started in the car and they stopped the car on Broadway at Morris Street.

On 11/26/11 at 12:27 a.m. officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Powell Street for a found Burglary.  Upon arrival it was determined unknown person(s) had forced entry through a basement window.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/26/11 at 9:39 a.m. an employee at Universal Supply reported unknown person(s) forced entry into the business.  Four cash registers had been damaged and money was missing.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/26/11 at 8:37 p.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Brown Street at Chambers Street.  As a result, Frank Gilfillan, 38, a resident of Gaunt Street was arrested for driving on a suspended license and contempt.  He was later released after posting bail.

On 11/26/11 at 10:34 p.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Broadway at Linden Street.  While interviewing the driver outside of the car, the driver fled north on Broadway on foot.  The driver then fled east on Passaic Street to the Railroad and ran south on the Railroad tracks.  The officer caught the driver on the tracks under the Walt Whitman Bridge where a physical altercation ensued.  The driver, Jomy Isalguez-Feliz, 23, a resident of Camden was subdued and arrested.  He was charged with resisting arrest, hindering apprehension and driving without a license.  He was remanded to Camden County Jail.

On 11/27/11 at 2:18 a.m. an officer was dispatched to Broadway at Market Street for a report of a male urinating in the street.  Upon arrival the officer located the male, Michael Marchionne Jr., 22, a resident of Brooklawn.  When the male was advised of his violation, he responded, “everybody does it.”  He was charged with urinating in public.

On 11/27/11 at 11:29 a.m. an employee at the Gloucester City Water Department reported a found burglary at the building.  Upon arrival it was determined unknown person(s) had forced entry into the building by breaking a door window.  Numerous brass fittings were found to be missing.  The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/27/11 at 2:25 p.m. Tyrone Penton, 52, a resident of Sicklerville was arrested on Broadway at Middlesex Street for Contempt.  He was remanded to Camden County Jail.

On 11/27/11 at 6:55 p.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Rt. 130 North in front of D’Place.  As a result, Michael Draper, 46, a resident of the 200 block of Market Street was arrested for driving while suspended.

On 11/28/11 at 8:21 p.m. officers responded to Monmouth Street at Sussex Street for an altercation.  As a result, William Hoffman, 51, a resident of the 400 block of Monmouth Street was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after communications broke down and he seemed to forget where he was.

On 11/29/11 at 12:00 p.m.  Alex Molinaro, 30, a resident of Brick was arrested for contempt in Gloucester City Municipal Court.  He was remanded to Camden County Jail.

On 11/29/11 at 8:47 p.m. Sarah Maryasz, 34, a resident of the 200 block of Morris Street was arrested for contempt.  She was later released on bail.

On 11/29/11 at 11:28 p.m. an officer conducted a car stop on Broadway at Cumberland Street.  As a result, George Rieder, 41, a resident of Stites Avenue was arrested for driving on a suspended license and contempt.

Officers also responded to 12 domestic violence incidents and 23 motor vehicle crashes.

THOSE CHARGED ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
