Wednesday, December 28, 2011 Rescue 32 and Squad 45 responded to Route 295 Southbound just before Exit 26. Crews located a vehicle that had gone off the roadway struck a fence that caused the vehicle to flip and come to rest in a small stream. The lone occupant had self extricated prior to FD arrival. CAMDEN — The investigation is continuing into a shooting Monday that killed a 23-year-old city man in one of Camden’s historically peaceful neighborhoods. TRENTON – Attorney General Paula T. Dow and Division on Civil Rights Director Craig Sashihara announced today that the Board of Education in Emerson, Bergen County, has agreed to pay a former student $130,000 to resolve allegations the school district did not effectively address alleged verbal, physical and cyber harassment of the student that went on for years.
