Wanted: Suspects for Robbery of Belaggio Jewelry Store in the 2nd

Northeast Detectives Seek Assistance in Identifying Suspects Depicted in Surveillance Video

On November 4, 2011, at 4:50pm, two unknown males entered the Belaggio Jewelry store located at 2115 Cottman Avenue armed with guns and forced three store employees into the back office.

The suspects removed trays of various types of jewelry from the front counter and rear safe. The suspects fled the store on foot when they are spotted by an off-duty Philadelphia Police Officer.

The off-duty officer follows the suspects and they get into a green Ford Contour with a partial Pa. tag possibly ending in 2204 parked in the rear lot of the Sears Tire store. The off-duty officer follows the suspects but lost sight of the suspects vehicle in the area.


  • Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 40 years-of-age, 5’10 to 6', reddish beard, close cut hair to bald, dark complexion wearing a dark suit with a leather jacket armed with a black handgun.

    Suspect #2: Black male, late 35 to 40 years-of-age, 6', close cut hair wearing a grey sweat suit, blue jeans, brown sun glasses with gold frames armed with a silver handgun.
