On 10/29/11, at approximately 12:00 A.M., officers in the Gloucester Township Police's Operations Response Unit were conducting enhanced enforcement operations in response to a concerned citizen's tip to the Gloucester Township Police Community Relations Bureau on suspicious people and activity in the 200 block area of the LaCascata community which had been discussed one day prior at the department's weekly Crime Operations Assessment meeting.

During their pro-active patrol a suspicious male was observed standing next to an occupied vehicle. The male appeared frightened when he noticed the police vehicle and abruptly walked away from the occupied vehicle. Ptl. Officers contacted Winslow Township Police Department, who assisted in the recovery of the aformentioned property from his residence.

The accused, Warren T. Davis Jr., Age 34, from the 100 block of Fenway Avenue, Atco, NJ, was charged in Winslow Township with Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Certain Persons not to have Weapons.
