Bernardi and Florence Township Police Chief Stephen Fazekas announced today that a Florence Township Municipal Court official has been arrested for using court-collected funds for personal expenses. Tracey A. Verduchi, age 48, of 2042 Old York Road in Burlington Township, N.J., was charged with one count of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property Received. The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Wells Fargo Branch located at 340 S. 2nd Street earlier today. The School District has not had a full-day kindergarten program since the 2009-10 school year. DETROIT — A 37-year-old Westland man will spend the rest of his life in prison without parole in the slaying of a Taylor police officer. Tyress Mathews was sentenced Monday in Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit. A jury found him guilty earlier this month of first-degree premeditated murder. Cpl. Date: November 18, 2011 1. 3:09 AM– Vehicle Burglary – Resident from the 100 block of Oakmont Dr. reported two subjects burglarizing a vehicle. Both subjects ran off prior to police arrival. One subject described as a male, tall and thin, wearing a baseball cap. Caller was unable to provide a description of the second subject. On November 21, 2011 Gloucester Township Police responded to the 7-11 Store on Evesham Road (case 11- 48895) for a report of a subject that had stolen 15 packs of cigarettes. During the course of that investigating a second call was received from the Wawa Store (11-48898) located on Somerdale Road in Gloucester Township for an attempted Shoplifting where the suspect attempted to steal cigarettes.
