• Returning from his most recent deployment, this time in Afghanistan.
• Served in The Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, U.S. Marines
• He is a squad leader and has conducted over 100 dismounted patrols, 30 fire fights, and busted a top IED maker/implacer.
• On July 3, he was involved in an IED blast where he sustained a concussion and an injured ear drum.
• Tom will be studying Criminal Justice after his service in the U.S. Marines.
• His sister, Annamae Young is an Air Force Recruiter.
• Girlfriend Jessica and his friends/family are very happy to have him home.
• The family would like to take a moment to ask everyone to honor and remember the soldiers who are not coming home.

Friends, Family, The Warriors Watch, A Hero’s Welcome, The Yellow Ribbon Club, The New Jersey State Police, The Hampton Lakes Fire Department, Southampton Township, and others will be on hand to make some noise and welcome home this Hero in Rock Star style.
