Joseph B. Miller Funeral Services Held; Cousin of CNBNews Columnist

Joseph B. Miller, 21, of Medford, passed away suddenly on October 4, 2011. Mr. Miller died after the car he was riding in struck a deer, followed by several trees. The driver of the car was injured. Mr. Miller was a student at Stockton College. He is  the cousin of Hank Miller who writes the CNBNews.net column When East Meets West.

Born in Cooper University Medical Center in Camden, Joseph was raised in Clementon, before moving to Medford in 1999. He attended St. Mary of the Lakes School, and was a parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church in Medford, where he served as an usher. Joseph graduated from Holy Cross High School in 2008, and was involved in the Stage Crew. He was currently working on his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the Richard Stockton College of NJ. Joseph was an avid Phillies fan, who enjoyed video games and had a passion for Classic Camaros. He owned his own 1987 Camaro which he worked on, and wanted to collect more vintage Camaros.

He is survived by his loving parents, James P. Miller and Cecilia Caringal, M.D.; his loving sister and her significant other, Cecilia “Cee Cee” Miller of Medford and Chris Snyder of Cinnaminson; his grandmother, Sara Miller of Haddon Heights; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including Michael, Louie, Jon and Joao.

Funeral services were held at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, (609) 654-2439. The funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford.

Interment was in Park View Cemetery, Medford.
