Gloucester City Police Conduct Drug Raid; 18 Year Old Arrested for Possession of CDS/Intent to Distribute-cnbnews.net
On 09/15 at 1815 the Gloucester City PD Detective Bureau did execute a search warrant at 910 Jersey Ave after an investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine from the residence. Heather Rough (18) of said address was arrested after officers located a quantity of crack cocaine and U.S. Currency inside of the residence. Rough was charged with Possession of CDS/ Intent to Distribute/ and Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Public Building. She was remanded to the Camden County Corrections Facility. Also arrested was Rough’s mother, Patricia Ruple (41). Ruple was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Justice after officers had warned her several times about interfering with the investigation and search of the residence. Ruple was released ROR.

On 09/17 at 0651 a resident of Jefferson Ave reported that on 09/16 at 2130 an unknown white male entered their unlocked vehicle, stealing cash and CD’s.
On 09/18 at 0309 an officer observed a vehicle stopped on the railroad tracks at Market Street. The officer observed a female asleep at the wheel with the vehicle in gear. Kyisha Davis (35) of Philadelphia was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI. Davis was additionally charged with Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests and released ROR.
On 09/19 at 0850 a resident of the 500 block of Bergen Street reported that sometime overnight her purse was stolen from the residence. The victim observed the screen window partially open, but no other signs of forced entry into the residence.
On 09/19 at 2127 officers responded to King and Ridgeway Streets for a report of four Hispanic males threatening to shoot the caller. The males had fled the scene prior to police arrival, but two were located a short time later at 4th and Powell Streets. One of the suspects, a 17 y/o male from the 100 block of N. King Street, was found to have a tire iron tucked into his waistband. He was subsequently placed under arrest. The juvenile was also found to have two wrenches and a set of brass knuckles on his person. The second suspect, Jenaro Vadell (19) also of the 100 block of N. King Street was arrested after providing officers with a fake name. Jenaro Vadell was charged with Hindering Apprehension and remanded to the Camden County Corrections Facility on outstanding warrants. The 17 y/o male was charged with Weapons Offenses and Hindering Apprehension after initially supplying officers with a fake name. He was remanded to the Lakeland Facility.
On 09/20 at 0950 officers located two people sleeping inside of the Dining Car Depot. Tito Diaz (25) lka the 100 block of N. Broadway and Frances Downes (51) of Lindenwold were both charged with Defiant Trespass. Downes was remanded to the Camden County Corrections Facility on outstanding warrants.
On 09/20 at 1419 officers arrested Andrew Hoffman (22) and his father John Hoffman (47) both of the 500 block of Chambers Ave. Both were charged with Receiving Stolen Property after it was learned that they had stolen a metal sign from the Dining Car Depot and attempted to scrap it at a local business. They were charged and released.
On 09/20 at 1954 Erin Daley (24) of the unit block of S. Sussex Street and Mark Breslin (29) of the 200 block of Market Street were both arrested on King and Broadway for outstanding warrants. Daley was found to have 5 bags of heroin on her person and was charged with Possession of CDS. Breslin was found to have a glass smoking pipe on his person and was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were remanded to the Camden County Corrections Facility.
On 09/22 at 0941 two residents of the 200 block of Monmouth Street reported that sometime overnight their vehicles had tires punctured. Both vehicles were parked at Monmouth and Burlington Streets.
On 09/22 at 2244 a resident of the 200 block of Bergen Street reported that sometime during the day unknown person(s) broke into her shed in the rear yard and stole a yellow, “TOM” moped.
On 09/23 at 0012 officers responded to the CItgo at Broadway and Market Street for an unconscious female inside of the store. Denise Laute (49) of the 200 block of Third Street was charged with Being Under the Influence of CDS after it was learned that she had ingested an unknown amount of Soma and Vicadin prior to entering the store.
Adddtionally, officers responded to 11 domestic violence incidents, 5 motor vehicle accidents and made 32 arrests during the week.
