Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit Seek Public's Help in Identifying the Suspects Wanted in Three Year Old Homicide

On September 28, 2008, at 6th and Green Streets Matthew Novak's vehicle was experiencing mechanical problems and broke down. Novak was able to wave down a passing vehicle to help render assistance. A newer model blue Chevy Impala, occupied by 3 males, stopped and offered to help find a set of jumper cables. Novak told his two friends and gets into this vehicle. Minutes later, in the area of 13th and Fairmount, he was shot one time while exiting the blue Impala. Novack died later that evening from his injuries.
