Philadelphia Police Seek the Public's Assistance Locating Vehicle

On Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at approximately 4:00 PM, an unidentified vehicle was backing into a parking spot at the Wawa located at 7600 Frankford Avenue when the vehicle struck a pedestrian (11 year old female) pinning her against another unidentified vehicle in the parking lot.  After striking the child, both vehicles fled the location.  The female sustained a cut and bruising to her right knee.  

The striking vehicle is described as a silver mid-sized 4 door vehicle with a sunroof.  The striking vehicle was occupied by a male and a female at the time of the incident (#1 – white male, 18-24 years old, thin build, black shorts, black tank top and a Baltimore Orioles baseball cap; #2 – white female, 18-24 years old, grey shirt, blue jeans with holes in the front, brown hair pulled back).  The second vehicle is described as a white 4 door vehicle with a sunroof and was occupied by a male (white or Hispanic, 18-24 years old, numerous tattoos, white tank top, black shorts).
