As you well know we have been fighting with the Gloucester Township Council and Mayor, all democrats, to enact an ordinance to ban Pay to Play. They are dug in and refuse to move from their positionof not needing this new level of transparency. We have started a petition drive to force our elected officials to do the right thing and STOP SHAKING DOWN VENDORS FOR CONTRACTS!!!!!!
On July 9, 2011 10 am - 1 pm at the Veterans Memorial Park next to the Gloucester Township Municipal Building we are hosting an event to empower and educate the citizens on what good government is and how to insure our elected and appointedofficials are more accountable. We will also
be collecting signatures to prove to Mayor and Council that the people of GT are not happy and want a change. Today Gloucester Township, tomorrow YOUR TOWN. P2P is a very important issue and the average person is not fully aware of what it is and how destructive it can be to the moral fiber of a community. We take the fight to the corruption on July 9th.
Please come out and show your support, even if you do not live in GT we can do this in your town next. Good government is not a luxury, it is a necessity.
