CNBNEWS.NET SPORTS: Riversharks Host First Overnight of the 2011 Season

After the game 550 fans, many boy and girl scouts from South Jersey and Philadelphia, brought their camping gear onto the field for the first of four summer overnights. 550 Campers enjoyed snacks, a movie on the Scoreboard, and Concessions that included s'mores and funnel cake.

Following the sleepover campers were served breakfast at 7:00 AM followed by a Baseball Clinic with Riversharks players from 9:00-10:30. All campers received a Riversharks Patch to demonstrate their participation in the sleepover.The Camden Riversharks hosted their first overnight of the 2011 Season.

Friday, June 3. 2011 the Riversharks hosted 6,834 fans on a perfect summer night. After the game, the fireworks spectacular began. Every Friday Night the Riversharks are home, fireworks light up the Camden Waterfront.

The Camden Riversharks will host three more overnights this summer. The June 24th overnight is already sold out but there are still tickets remaining for:

•July 8- NJ Scout Night
•July 29 - PA Scout/Family Night
