Bill_Blagg_A VINELAND, NJ:  The Landis Theater Performing Arts Center invites you to enjoy an afternoon of incredible illusions, with plenty of comedy mixed in, when “The Magic Of Bill Blagg” takes the stage on Sunday, August 14 with a family-friendly 4:30pm performance.

The Magic Of Bill Blagg (photo)is filled with exciting illusions, audience participation, non-stop comedy, and most importantlyBill Blagg’s engaging off-the-cuff personality.  His grand-scale magic show leaves audiences rubbing their eyes in disbelief as they witness the seemingly impossible.  Called “simply amazing,” by the Chicago Tribune, The Magic Of Bill Blaggincorporates lighting effects, elite stage sets, and mind-blowing tricks to present an unbelievable magic experience.

When Bill Blagg was five years old, he received his
first beginners set and his magical journey began.  From that point, Bill practiced, rehearsed, and created illusions that he knew would entertain and amaze.  By the time Bill was a senior in high school, people began to take notice.  His first big break came in 1998 at the Abbott Magic Get-Together.  He turned the magic world on its head by becoming the youngest contestant to win the Adult Stage Competition.  From there, he worked to perfect his talents and style, and now presents his one-of-a-kind show to audiences around the world.

“We are very excited to be able to bring Bill and his very unique magic show to Vineland,” said Executive Artistic Director Joseph Marcello.  “During the performance he has been known to walk through steel, bring ordinary objects to life, make audience volunteers levitate in mid-air, or even vanish in the blink of an eye.  It is a very interactive show and a perfect opportunity for the entire family to have a really fun afternoon at the Theater.”

In addition, prior to the Bill Blagg show, the Performing Arts Center will take part in the Vineland Bicentennial celebration. “From 2:00pm to 4:00pm we will host a pre-show event featuring memorabilia, Miss Vineland, The Singing Ambassadors, The Cumberlads, and The Friends of Historic Vineland,” Marcello said.  “Come, be a part of the celebration, and enjoy a great magic show.”

Tickets for The Magic Of Bill Blagg are $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for children 15 years and under.  Tickets can be purchased on-line at Landistheater.com, at the Box Office located at 830 East Landis Avenue, or by calling 856-691-1121.
