Gloucester City High School's success as a perennial Tri-County Conference softball power continued on Monday as the Lions clinched their sixth straight Classic Division championship with a 10-0 shutout of visiting Schalick.
Tersea Anderson hit a two-run homer, Angela Harris knocked in three runs with a pair of singles, and Kate Boulden scattered three hits to get the pitching win for coach Dave Light's club.
Also in the Tri-County, Erynn Sobieski's first no-hitter made GCIT a 4-0 winner at Woodstown. Sobieski struck out six and walked one, and Taylor Favinger had four of the Cheetahs' five hits.
