NEWS, SPORTS, COMMENTARY, POLITICS for Gloucester City and the Surrounding Areas of South Jersey and Philadelphia

Get-out-vote I am writing to voice my support for Jackie (Cowgill) Borger in the Gloucester City School Board election, and I urge all concerned Gloucester voters to consider doing the same. This year, there will be nine people vying for just three slots. I know most, but not all of the candidates. Out of all of them, I am most comfortable supporting Jackie Borger, and I will tell you why.

For the 40 plus years I have known Jackie and her husband, Ken, there has never been a time that she has not been involved, in some way, in trying to make our community a better place to live. She has availed herself to the youth of the community, the seniors, the veterans, her neighbors and the Country by proudly serving with distinction in the U.S. Military. She “walks the walk!”

This year’s School Board election is crucial! We cannot choose candidates motivated by petty, personal agendas or political aspirations. We have to be represented by people who have the best interest of the School District at heart. That is why I am voting Jackie Borger.

The Election will be on a Wednesday this year, April 27, from 2-9 p.m. Make your voice heard and consider supporting Jackie Borger for the Gloucester School Board.
