Ø      Lourdes Stroke Center offers comprehensive treatment options provided by specially trained staff who are on call 24 hours a day and are available to address anyone who is suffering from or suspects a stroke.

Ø      Lourdes Regional Rehabilitation Center is a 50 bed inpatient “hospital within a hospital” serving individuals 20 years and older with a wide range of disabilities.  The staff has a wide range of experience, from our nurses to our therapists we all take a team approach to work together and support each other.

Ø      L.I.F.E. Living Independently for Elders at Lourdes is a program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly.

Ø      Lourdes Wellness Center has provided various wellness offerings to help the community while incorporating wellness for the mind, body and spirit since 1979.

Ø      Mt. Laurel Dialysis specializes in the care of chronic outpatient dialysis patients.

Ø      The satellite emergency department located on the campus of the renowned Deborah Hearth and Lung Center is staffed by the highly experienced Lourdes Emergency Department.

Ø      The Early Intervention Program offers the opportunity to provide parent training and to work closely with children and families in their homes in the entireCamden County area.  As a therapist you can have the experience of working independently with a flexible schedule, while also having the support of a team of a dedicated and professional staff.

Position Summary: The ED/EMT will demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment; treatment and care are appropriate and safe during transport. .In addition the ED/EMT demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed and will operate and maintain the ambulance safely and efficiently. The ED/EMT will also provide direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse while functioning within the ED.. The ED/EMT will provide care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment and the transportation of patients.

Required:
CPR
Certification as Emergency Medical Technician-Basic by Department of Health and Senior Services 
Certification in Emergency Vehicle Operations 
Hazmat Awareness Course 

Preferred:
Basic or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support 
Certified in Pediatric Emergency Care 

Skills Required:
Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal 
Ambulance Operations
 
Skills Preferred:
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in a timely manner  
Strong interpersonal skills
