Siracusa earns NJAC honors

Ewing, NJ … Senior Steve Siracusa (New Providence, NJ/New Providence) was named to the 2010-2011 New Jersey Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball All-Conference Honorable Mention team.
Siracusa ranked second in the NJAC in rebounds this season averaging 9.0 per game. He was also sixth in the conference in steals (2.0 avg./g) and third in minutes played per game (33.4).
The captain and lone senior on the Lions’ squad, Siracusa registered six double-doubles during the season. His 22-point, 16 rebound performance against Centenary College notched career-highs in both categories. The 6’ 3” forward led TCNJ in rebounds 20 times during the season, assists eight times, and in scoring three times.
During the 2010-11 season, Siracusa averaged 10.2 points per game, grabbed 224 boards, nabbed 50 steals, and blocked nine shots. He finished his career ranked 6th all-time in rebounds in Lions’ program history with 587 to his credit in just three seasons.
Siracusa will graduate with a degree in health and exercise science.
